Medium Integration

Why did we build it?

Customers use Medium as a way to understand both what kind of blog content is being posted by their community and also to discover new users that may be posting content relevant to their community.

How does it work? Where is it in the product?
Customers can connect the Medium integration via the standard integration setup flow in Settings.  There is no auth required since the integration is built on top of Medium's RSS feed.  Users will be able to configure the integration to listen for new posts to either a:

  1. "Publication", which is a company account that users can post new blog entries to.

  2. "Topic", which is a tag that can be applied to any post independent of publication.

Once configured, the integration will pull in the last 10 posts for the configured publication(s) and/or topic(s) and refresh for new posts every 5 minutes.
